Through the years, our dedication to excellence has remained steadfast, evolving with the changing automotive landscape. Nigel, an integral part of the Coombe Garage legacy, joined the business and pioneered our tyre sales division, setting a precedent for superior service and product offerings.
In 2006, responding to our growing clientele, we relocated to Nailsea, expanding our reach while staying true to our commitment to customer satisfaction. In 2013, Coombe Garage found a new home at the Southfield Road Trading Estate, a testament to our enduring presence and adaptability in the industry.
In 2017, Nigel and Jan made the decision to sell the business to Protyre.
Whilst we now have no affiliation with Coombe garage Protyre, our story doesn't end there. In 2020, Todd, Nigel's son, fuelled by a passion from the family legacy and a vision for the future, embarked on a new chapter by founding Downside Tyres, returning to its origins on Downside Road. With a deep-rooted understanding of our community's needs and a dedication to upholding the legacy of excellence established by his predecessors, Todd continues the tradition of providing unparalleled tyre solutions and automotive services.
